April is the month of Sanskrit & Music!
Welcome to our April Newsletter! We have had a very active March and are looking forward to an even more busy month of April.
Fun fact: One of the reasons we are called Triangle Shala is because the 3 angles of our space are centered around: Yoga, Sanskrit & Music!
This month at Triangle Shala, you’ll see a slew of events that highlight the music & Sanskrit piece of our space! Of course, we have our regular ongoing yoga classes as well. We hope to see you at some or ALL of our wonderful events coming up!
Join us for our weekly Sunday morning Hatha yoga class set to the tunes of morning ragas. Is there a better way to start off your Sunday?
Please join us for as we teach along 9 other local yoga teachers for a 108 Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) marathon! Triangle Shala’s slot is at 10:40 AM. We will have mantra chanting along with music tied to our Surya Namaskar practice!
This past winter, we entered into a Sanskrit film festival in India and won best music composition! Please join us for a film premier event, with dinner & a mini concert provided by the artists who composed the music for our film!
An truly artistic event that combines music, poetry & dance. We are fortunate to have musical virtuosos who specialize in Hindustani Classical music perform for us (traveling all the way from India).
In addition to our special events, we have our weekly class schedule for you below. Wherever you are in your yoga journey, we have something for you.
As always, your support of our small space means everything. Our aim is to serve the community in a way that is accessible for as wide swath of people as possible.
