Triangle Shala — End-of-Year Reflection
Dear Shala Community,
As we close out this year, our hearts are full. Thank you for your continued trust in our vision of offering affordable, authentic, and accessible yoga to everyone who walks through our doors. Your presence, commitment, and belief in this little community is what allows Triangle Shala to grow with integrity and purpose.
A Year of Beautiful Growth
Thanks to you, our community has grown to 600+ yogis in our system—a milestone we hold with deep gratitude. Each name reflects a unique journey, a moment of showing up, a return to self.
This year brought meaningful, steady growth across our offerings:
Thursday Evening Yoga has blossomed beautifully in a short time. Heartfelt thanks to Yerri for skillfully weaving pranayama into class and welcoming so many new students.
Saturday Ashtanga grew from just one or two practitioners into a dedicated Mysore-inspired group. Deep gratitude to Lucie for her devotion to the lineage and her thoughtful support.
Cozy Saturday Morning Flow with Prachiti has expanded organically, drawing a warm, grounded morning community.
Anjali’s Saturday virtual class, though small, remains a deeply nourishing and intimate weekly space for committed home practitioners.
Aparna’s Friday & Sunday classes have also grown steadily, and it’s been a joy to see familiar faces returning week after week.
We also hosted a rich range of workshops—rope & belt therapy with Sudhesh sir, inversion and backbending workshops with Lucie, perimenopause and fertility sessions, free guided meditations, and our first yoga retreat (with a second planned for September 2026).
Special Thank you to Lucie! Lucie has introduced the world of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga to us at Triangle Shala and we are grateful! Lucie won’t be continuing to teach at Triangle Shala, BUT she will definitely return for some workshops throughout the year. She will continue to be a strong presence at Ashtanga Yoga School of Raleigh. We wish her the best and are thankful for all her dedicated guidance at our space.
🙏 Thank You for Showing Up
Whether you come weekly, monthly, or whenever life allows — your presence matters.
You are the Shala.
Your trust fuels our mission.
Your dedication inspires us every day.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We’re excited to continue serving you with offerings rooted in tradition and community, including:
Sanskrit Workshops & Understanding more of Yoga philosophy
A potential new Ashtanga Vinyasa class on the 4th Sunday of every month - stay tuned!
A Master Class in Hatha Yoga with Sudhesh Sir (tentatively March)
And more opportunities to deepen your practice in meaningful, accessible ways.
✨ Holiday Schedule
We’ll be taking a short break from December 25th–28th, with a slightly modified schedule surrounding the holidays. Rest, restore, and savor time with loved ones — we’ll be right here waiting for you.
And then… we’re back with a bang in January and beyond!
💛 With Deep Gratitude
Thank you once again for believing in our vision, for supporting our teachers, and for creating a space where yoga is practiced with sincerity and heart. We can’t wait to grow, learn, and breathe together in the year ahead.
With warmth and gratitude,
Triangle Shala
Teaching yoga is a practice in itself. I’ve created two self-paced offerings for teachers who want to refine their sequencing and reconnect with yoga philosophy—without rushing or overwhelm. Explore them anytime, at your own pace.
As always, we are grateful to be a part of your inbox.
With gratitude,The Triangle Shala Team
Until next time :)
